Surah Al-Falak
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Say: ‘I seek refuge by the Lord of the dawn,
From the evil of that which He has created,
And from the evil of darkness when it spreads,
And from the evil of the blowers on the knots,
And from the evil of an envier when he envies.’
One of (Al Mu‘awwazatain) and one of the protection Surah in the Holy Qur’an. Prophet Mohammed (P.B.U.H.) advises believers to frequently seek immunity with this verse from all sorts of evil – the evil eye of mankind, especially the evil sorcerers who blow on knots and cast spells. The Prophet (P.B.U.H.), said, “Allah has revealed verses the kind of which you have never seen: ‘Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of the Dawn and: Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of the People.
